Hi thank you for Visiting Cameralott website

While I have been taking photos for sometime for myself and work (mostly product and project photos), like most artists finding the right time to make the leap to professional is always the big question.

It was always a dream to be an artist and musician, however generally these career choices do not pay the bills.

 

Since this is a Bio lets start with the corporate world.

Now retired, I was the National sales and marketing manager for a brick and stone importer for Canada and the US based in Vancouver BC.  I left them in 2020 and, yes, this was right before the pandemic.

During that time, I used my art skills to produce this companies first catalogue from my home office after hours. In the years following this became the model for their national and international marketing strategy. They now produce 5 full product line catalogues distributed throughout Canada and the western United States for dealer distribution.

My wife has long suggested that I should pursue photography. While I have always viewed this as only a hobby, a few years ago she submitted a photo to her company's photo contest, in which I placed first.

Since that time I have had a number if projects that have been Published – Including Dual page inside last page on National magazine “ PhotoED Digital edition.
